Kathy Tuitt, President, Co-Founder

Kathy is one of the founders of HRWARE. Her vision to help HR professionals improve Human Capital Management processes with enabling technology and services launched HRWARE in 1994. It was her passion for providing quality solutions for human resources that led HRWARE to its success.

Her focus and dedication continues to provide customers value with integrity, creativity and innovation. It is Kathy’s vision to continually improve HR practices through the latest technologies.

Prior to launching HRWARE with her partners, Kathy held other successful leadership roles for Highline Corporation, GSI Canada and Spectrum Human Resource Systems Corporation. Prior to the Human Capital industry she was an Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand (now Price Waterhouse Coopers).

Kathy has her BA, Commercial & Administrative Studies with a major in Finance from the University of Western Ontario. Kathy is the Treasurer for the Brampton Tennis Club and the Chair of the Village Offices of Heart Lake in Brampton, Ontario.

Tony Couto, Chief Technology Officer, Co-Founder

As HRWARE’s co-founder and Chief Technology Officer, Tony Couto turns vision into reality. It is Tony’s sharp mind and dedication to quality that has positioned HRWARE as a technology leader in the Canadian HRMS market.

He leads HRWARE’s technology strategy and roadmap and contributes to the organizations strategic planning. Tony’s judicious approach to identifying customer needs has earned him much client appreciation for the technical delivery of HRWARE solutions.

Prior to co-founding HRWARE in 1994, Tony led the Human Resources Application delivery team for GSI’s International office in Paris France.

Alfred Tuitt, Chief Strategy Officer, Co-Founder

In his capacity as HRWARE’s Chief Strategy Officer, Alfred Tuitt helps shape HRWARE’s business vision and strategy. Partnering with HRWARE’s Operations Group, Development Committee, Chief Technology Officer and Customer Focus Groups to identify the next key market transitions across the company’s customer segments: he is responsible for the development of integrated strategies that leverage HRWARE’s assets.

A graduate of Concordia University, Alfred was an original founder of HRWARE in 1994. His vision has helped HRWARE maintain its position as one of Canada’s best providers of leading edge Human Capital Management related software & services.

Hughena Brennan, Chief Commercial Officer

Hughena recently joined HRWARE as Chief Commercial Officer to continue HRWARE’s value-based growth and commercial success. She has a proven track record for over 30 years generating growth across multiple industries, products, services, and technologies.

Prior to joining HRWARE, Hughena founded a successful consulting business 11 years ago helping technology companies and their clients achieve value from their technology investments. She has worked with companies such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft, i2 Technologies, RedPrairie, T4G, Bell Canada, Canada Post, and Pacer Global. She also held leadership roles in sales & marketing, strategic planning and operations with organizations such as CN Rail, Triple Crown Services, and Oracle.

Hughena obtained her MBA from Richard Ivey School of Business, University of Western Ontario. She has also served on boards of various not-for-profit organizations. She currently is helping to launch a program (as part of a not-for-profit organization) for under employed immigrants to learn English and have their credentials recognized so they can prosper in Canada.
